Wyoming Catholic College received as a gift part of the Broken Anvil Ranch owned by Francie Mortenson-Perkins. This lovely ranch valley, comprising 2,300 acres of deeded, federal, and state land and valued at nearly 2 million dollars, will be the site of the College campus. The valley is broad and grassy, dotted with trees and sagebrush, and surrounding by rock formations of striking colors and shapes. In the distance one can see the outlying mountains.
To draw up a master campus plan, the College employed Anderson Mason Dale Architects, a firm that specializes in campus planning and architectural design.
The entire campus plan is designed to provide for the various dimensions of College life: the academic, the spiritual, and the outdoors. The buildings are designed to blend with the colors and contours of the surrounding landscape and to allow creation's beauty to retain its pride of place. Use the links on the menu to the left to view visual images of the campus site and the buildings themselves.
Inquiries as to naming opportunities for substantial contributions towards any of the campus building, as well as making specific donations of any amount for such buildings, should be directed to the President, Fr. Robert Cook, or the Vice President of Development, Herbert Mosher, by mail at P.O. Box 750, Lander, WY 82520; by email at
