(Posted July 12, 2008) The news that our Bishop and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Wyoming Catholic College, Most Reverend David L. Ricken, had been promoted to the larger Diocese of Green Bay, Wisconsin, was greeted by the faculty and staff at WCC with mixed emotions.  We were pleased that Pope Benedict XVI recognized the special qualities of our Bishop and acted accordingly by this reassignment.  On the other hand, we were grieved that we would lose the Bishop who means so very much to this College.

(Posted July 7, 2008) At the First Vespers for the Solemnity of Saints Peter and Paul at the end of June, Pope Benedict XVI inaugurated a worldwide year of prayer, meditation, and celebration in honor of the 2,000th anniversary of the birth of the Apostle Paul. The faculty, staff, and students at Wyoming Catholic College welcome this opportunity to attain a deeper understanding of the unique role St. Paul played in building up the Mystical Body of Christ on earth by his preaching of the mystery of Christ to the Gentiles.

(Posted May 22, 2008)  With the arrival of the Class of 2012 this fall, the student body of WCC will double in size.  Our faculty roster is growing as well.  Dr. Thaddeus Kozinski, pictured here, joins Dr. Carlson and Dr. Kalpakgian as a teacher of humanities and the Trivium.
